I thought that the atomic bombs would wipe out Japan but however when the atomic bombs exploded, it only shows a flash of green light

Does anyone know how it is said to know that the real name of Tōji Hisami (Twelve) from zankyou no terror is actually Kumi Fujiuji?

Although the series came out in 2014, I have finished it just recently and it left me with many questions. The biggest one would be the very end of Twelve and Nine's story.
It was said that the U.S. forces assassinated them because they knew about Five's/FBI's actions. Their motive somewhat makes sense but my question is, can they do that? Can they assassinate two people in a foreign country withought consequences?
Firstly, Shibazaki was just about to arrest them. And secondly, if Nine did trigger the bomb, wouldn't that make the situation for FBI even worse?
I would be grateful if somebody could explain what exactly went down.

Just wondering if it is possible to find out or whether anyone recognised a landmark or anything like that in the anime that would hint as to the rough whereabouts of their apartment in Tokyo. I found out the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building is in the Shinjuku ward.
